Welcome to “PICKLE COTTAGE” a relaxing break in the french countryside.

“La Rafoulais” is a tiny hamlet set in the tranquil Breton countryside, surrounded by lush green rolling fields, but close enough to the beautiful bay of “Le Mont Saint Michel” with its stunning island abbey built on an extinct volcano and France’s 2nd most visited tourist site, and the remarkable and beautiful coastline of “Brittany, safe sandy beaches and brilliant rock-pooling combine fun and comfort and an unhurried way of life.

“Pickle cottage” is built of local granite stone and is typical of the region! built in 1740 it has 3 bedrooms plus mezzanine and sleeps 12, ideal for large groups and families, outdoor plunge pool is available to our guests from May to September.

Fantastic local restaurants, bars, shops, water adventure parks, golf courses, floral parks and quaint villages, medieval towns and the channel islands are close by for day trips, it seems that a week is never enough! and you’re find all you need all within a short drive from this well kept and comfortable cottage.

Just 2 km across the border into Normandy you’re find the local food & drink famous for Camembert cheeses, Cider and apple brandies called Calavados.
