This large former Granite farmhouse and milking parlour sits proudly in our small hamlet of “La Rafoulais” 2 miles from the award winning floral village of “Cogles”, and now “Pickle Cottage” offers a full and comfy fully furnished holiday home that is designed to accommodate the maximum of 12 persons, great for family/friends breaks.
“Pickle Cottage” has 5, bedrooms with 2, double bedrooms and 1, family bedroom, 2, single rooms 1, full-sized bathroom, 1, shower room, and 3, toilets.
Downstairs you will find 2, large salons that have large fully stocked inglenook fireplaces with a traditional log burner for cosy nights in; large patio doors overlook the grounds & countryside where you will see the farmers cows passing for milking morning and evening.
The kitchen area is open-plan country style and fully equipped with large range cooker, dishwasher, microwave etc. The dinning area has a very large country cottage table that seats 12, high chairs are available, stair gates are fitted as standard and travel cots also available if required.
Large laundry/utililty room including washing machine, iron and ironing board.
Games room with book/Dvd/Video library playstation too.
Balconies that overlook our mature gardens, secure private parking for guests, BBQ, private terraces and patios, (private decked open air heated plunge pool May to September)
English T.V/Dvd plus large Dvd/Video complimentary library and free internet connection, Also fresh crisp linen supplied, Mountain bike hire with smooth gear shifts for our undulating country lanes.
Free welcome pack on arrival, free range eggs available from our own hens.

In “Pickle Cottage” you will find the “Cave du La Rafoulais” your very own extensive collection of 100 bottles of quality wines, take a wine tour of France in the comfort of your surroundings. At the end of your stay with us you simply pay for what you consume.
“Pickle Cottage” was before extensive renovations a farmhouse and milking parlour and hayloft for the working farm of “La Rafoulais”. The original features can still be seen set into the walls, the farm no longer exists but many features still show for example beautiful exposed oak beams throughout with light & airy rooms. We now have a spacious comfortable traditional Breton holiday cottage. short lets available also minimum stay 2 nights.
(Duvets and pillows are available as standard) and quality fresh linen, i.e sheets, pillow cases and duvet covers can be hired at an extra cost, Or supplied by yourselves. Please note that tea towels are provided as standard but hand & beach towels are not (terms & conditions apply).
Heating, hot water, and cooking gas included in rental price (but a charge of €30 for firewood is deducted from your security deposit)
In your cottage you will find information on the local area and forthcoming events, a good rule of thumb is check the guests’ comments book.
